I first met Mark Carney in 2008 during the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and IMF in Washington, DC, and have followed his career with great admiration ever since. His leadership in global finance and public service has been remarkable, and I have no doubt that he will bring the same dedication and vision to his new role as Prime Minister of Canada.
