The official Inauguration Address and accompanying speeches will take place in the United States Capitol Rotunda. President-elect Donald J. Trump confirmed this change today, citing the importance of guest safety and comfort during inclement weather.
How to Attend Inauguration Day 2025 at Capital One Arena
In a statement on Truth Social, President-elect Trump revealed additional plans for the historic day. Capital One Arena will open its doors on Monday for a live viewing of the Inauguration Address, followed by the Presidential Parade.

- Victory Rally: Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 3 P.M. (Doors open at 1 P.M.)
- Inauguration Day: Monday, January 20, 2025
- Inauguration Address: Broadcast live at Capital One Arena
- Presidential Parade: President-elect Trump will join the crowd at Capital One Arena following the swearing-in ceremony.
- Inaugural Balls: All three events remain scheduled for Monday evening.
